We are thankful it is Friday! Jacob has games in Conway tomorrow morning that I will not be able to make. Today is crazy sock day and I FORGOT TO TAKE A PIC, can you believe it??
We were both sick with a stomach virus yesterday, yuk!

Last night Jacob decided to create a Facebook so we could try and learn it, guess what he said "that is so boring and I am going to delete it" maybe I will not try it...decisions decisions..lol

Grey's was good, the scenes with Cally (sp?) are not so easy to watch with your 12 year old, I mean seriously people...sure Jacob is very knowledgeable about many things but geeez I turn red, especially when he ask questions and Grey's is our show that we watch together.
And Izzy boy she is not going to give up, can't say that I blame her, he is hot!

Crazy Hat Day

and this picture was not taken with joy! 7:00 a.m. and he is like get that camera OUT OF MY FACE, he does not say it bless his little kind heart but my goodness it pores out of him. At any rate the good sport that he is let me take one pic without his eyes showing. Mornings are very simple for us, we do the same thing at the same time every morning, yeah it is part of my obsessive behaviors but hey it makes for a good morning. Have you ever known anyone that screams get out of bed to their kids and they fuss and they fight over shoes, socks, hair, etc. Not at my house, we just do our thing =)

Last night was a chili supper at Jacob's school. Athletes were introduced, as a group, I thought it would be individuals. But it was nice.

Myspace has been blocked at work, understandable...but not facebook? Strange but I guess I will have to move it over there also! But aren't they both networking websites, I dunno *shrugs shoulders*

Maybe not....

Maybe I will not go to private after all.
Blogs I can not read even with my invitations are Mulhearns (my 1st blog addiction), Skinner's, Day & Robus families. I do not want to make things hard for my friends to read my blog...
Why is blogger so complicated??? grrr

Crazy Hair Day

Today is crazy hair day at school for Red Ribbon Week. It is vey hard to tell that Jacob has black spiker in his hair but it is there. He waited until very late last night to tell me or we would have had a wild color.....
Tomorrow is wild hat day, we got that one covered ;) and Thursday is wild sock day, stay tuned!

Chilly mornings

Jacob had blue~ white scrimmage games Saturday morning. He was scheduled to play one game but ended up playing three.
He played center and corner guard and got one heck of a tackle!

My phone number...To change or not? I have been receiving private calls for some time now, 32 in one night. Seriously people that is so irritating and why would someone do this constantly. Sometimes they play me music, sometimes not. The music kind of gives them away ;). But seriously this is my number that I have had for a long time, it is MINE, please stop calling unless you want to talk or pay the bill...lol. Lame huh? I think they call more often when they have had some alcohol, you know like in the middle of the night or the crack of dawn.

Grey's was good last night, but Alex needs to loose the attitude, makes him not so cute. Okay well maybe I do like to see a little rebel in a man but just a little =)
Jacob has his 1st "Junior High Party" tonight for two of his classmates 13th birthday. Fun stuff!
Ballgame in the morning. A few things to do this weekend but not a real busy schedule, thank goodness.

The State Fair~
soakin' wet!! My VIP packet I was given happened to be for Wednesday night and Wednesday night only, who would think it would rain...lol
Jacob went with his Big so he was off with him while we toughed it out in the rain, Jacob caught a ride home with us.
Bethany enjoyed the rides, Pam and I as well. And yes we were soaked, all of our clothes looked like they were falling off. The camera I kept put up most of the time just too much rain and I was carrying a lovely Little Mermaid umbrella =)

It is also time for the State Fair. We will be going providing that Jacob can get a few things in order. Today I have already met with a Principal, a Coach and an English teacher. The meeting was at my request , not there's but at any rate I hope we are now all on the same page.

Monday Monday

So last week Jacob informed me that he had been chosen for the 1st string team, 1st string is what I am calling it not sure what they are calling it. Jacob stays real confused this year about football stuff, but hey regardless he was chosen. Today he will try out for center position which is what he is used to playing. You would think these coaches would ask....have you played before? what position did you play? something!
But nope they don't.
I know another Twister picture, but I love them =) The weekend was nice. Kind of uneventful, we spent lots of time with The Woodall's, we even had a sleep over, thanks for having us.

Jacob's Big~

We met with Jacob's Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters yesterday. Things went well although Jacob was very sleepy and could not stop yawning. He is a local LR attorney and they have an outing scheduled for next weekend. I also work with his father, small world eh? If you ever think for one minute that your kids don't pay attention let me tell you otherwise. Every morning for years now after Jacob's feet hit the floor I say good morning~ I may sing it , I may say something silly, you just never know. Well Thursday morning I was in a hurry and he had gotten up and was milling around and he came to me and said "well good morning!" in this very stern voice as to why haven't you spoken to me yet.
I was slacking and he did not care for that!
