I don't have a whole lot today, other than I am tired of this rain....blah! People seem cranky today....is it the rain?

And what are the chances of Megan, a fellow blogger winning the TV this morning from Channel 7, yep she did. Congrats Megan! I picked mine up yesterday and it is nice. Too bad I don't know how to do all that fancy stuff.

WBW~Way Back Wednesday

sponge rollers & haircuts~
Jacob's 1st haircut 1997. I was worried about the "1st time hair cut horror" so a friend cut his hair for me at her house and he wanted nothing to do with the cape. He sat very still and has continued to do so since. He actually tells me he is ready for a haircut. This pic is prior to the haircut, these overalls were one of my favs. I loved them, and the little navy shoes.

I was reading a conversation on another blog about sponge rollers last week and I think I lived in them....here's proof!

Actually I try to do a WBW for Jacob and one of my myself each Wednesday but I was not prepared and brought no pictures of myself. I had these already scanned.

City of LR Employee Picnic~ most of my pictures are from before as I was busy during. There was lots to do~Kickball tournament, basketball tournament, bingo, blow up bounce house thingies, snow cones, cotton candy, adpot a pet, Fire Fighters, Swat Team , etc.
Everything went very smooth. We had committee t-shirts this year :)

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a very relaxing day for both of us, we were both exhausted fom the picnic the day before. We did not do much but we did have dinner with Carrie and the kids.
Jacob is so thoughful, Marsha took him shopping last week and he had picked out things for me by himself. He got me this swan neck massager, I constantly ask him to rub my shoulders, I have lots of damage to my collar bone from the surgeries and I think he is saving himself some work...ha! And a card that played Girls Just Want To Have Fun, some bubble bath, and a fancy nail file.

We got these balloons and candles at work last Friday, such a nice treat!

Just yesterday I told Carrie as she was showing me this huge basket of Estee Lauder make up that she won..."I never win anything"
