Bunco~

I was asked to sub with the Gadwall's girls again Monday night. These girls are a hoot and I had a great time! Thanks girls!

Vaca has been busy~doc, orthodontist, dentist, etc. But we have sure gotten some good sleep! Bailey came and spent a few days with us and it was great to have him. Tomorrow I hope the rain stays away so we can ride the trolley and have lunch.

I missed my first WBW and will have to double up next week =)

• I am off next week, yay! Jacob and I both have dr's appt's and he has and orthodontist appt. and yes I have paid for one set of braces (top) in 2006 and the teeth have turned again...ugh! I asked that ortho doc if he needed a retainer when they came off, oh no he said, yeah right!! We are going to stay in town and do some things together ~movie, trolley to the RiverMarket for lunch, WRC, book store (summer reads and some informational stuff for teen boys as I don't know how to have the "talks"). We are just going to spend lots of time together.
• I have been working out again and this time I am NOT quiting! NO NO NO!!
• I get to sub in a Bunco group next week with the Gadwall's group, they must have enjoyed my company last time...lol
• Teenage boys sleep A LOT, I have really found that out this week.
• Today is t he last day of the 3 week football clinic/camp. It should be a fun day, they have a slip n slide set up on the football field. When they handed out camp t-shirts Jacob did not get one because they had ran out. I asked about it to the coach in an email and he said Jacob would get a special shirt and that he did. He got a blue sleeveless under armour type shirt that says NLR Football on the front and Be The Best on the back. He loves it and I had just told him that we needed to stock up on some NLR apparel. What a good start!

In August 2006 we joined the circus....but they kicked us out so here we are!

This is the only picture I was allowed to take this morning of Jacob headed to football clinic.They got rained out this morning and were only able to do weights, but the 3 week clinic has been good! And Momma is ready for some football!!

WBW~ Way Back Wednesday

Water play at the Baptist Health Preschool (1999). Jacob almost looks bow legged and look at all that blonde hair, that is probably the longest his hair has ever been. Razorbacks at Baptist Health 1999. The team would come to see patients on Thanksgiving and I was able to assist them to the critical care units since this is where I worked. The only one I can point out by name is Anthony Lucas. I could not find the pic of me & Clint Stoerner but I had a blast on this day. I have many many good memories during my days at Baptist!!

I got my hair colored by the other hair dresser, she added in lots of brown. I was unsure at first but I am starting to like it...

I had a stomach bug attack me late Sunday night that has left me feeling as though someone has beat me in the ribs with a baseball bat. Serioulsy people if anyone you know says they have a stomach bug please be sweet to them and take car of them, it is deadly!!! I may never recover from this monster...

My float trip is this weekend, I am trying to get pumped. I am pumped, but again I must get rid of this virus.

Jacob's birthday was nice and low key just like he requested. I still can't believe he is a teenager now! He is back at football camp and called this morning to say that "all these years of football must have torn my hips up, they really hurt"
I said well you have only been playing for 5 years....not 50!! They must be working him out pretty good!

Happy 13th Birthday Jacob!!

We had an old fashion birthday party at home, Jacob & Jeremy had spent the day before fishing. Jacob got lots of money and taht is just what he wished for. It was a great time with great friends!

While they boys were fishing Saturday I took a trip to the sandbar :)
