The weekend was great! I got so much done at home and was able to enjoy some quality time with most of my peeps :)

Next Friday is girls trip to the lake and the next weekend is my birthday, better rest up HA!

So this past weekend I was able to clean out my closet with clothes that are too big. I was also able to put on a skirt that I have been saving for about 7 years, yes I said 7 years! It fits and it was buttoned. I have lost right at 30 lbs thus far. I have a long way to go but I do plan to get there. Granted I have no clothes now but I guess I am not complaining.

I have increased my exercise lately to 2 a day and I will be starting a tap class in 2 weeks that will add more exercise and I am super excited! Tap was a passion of mine for many years and I am excited to get back to it! I picked up my tap shoes last night :)

I showed Jacob a few steps that I remember and ummmm I am certain he was thinking I was nuts..ha!

who needs a mechanic?

NOT US!!!

So last week my car would not start, I was at a grocery store and not one that I cared to be stranded at but I was and I sat for 3.5 hours waiting on a wrecker through my road side assistance. I began this wait at 5:30 and watched the sun set.....yuk! I had a funny feeling it was my ignition switch so I bought one and Crystal popped that steering column off and put a new one in. Works like a charm :)

high school has begun

I barely got the 1st day of school picture, he is not so fond of the camera as he gets older....

Jacob had his 1st boxing lesson last night. They worked those boys and he is sore today!! This will take up a lot of his time and that concerns me with school and he was a little iffy last night afterwards so he plans to finish the week and make a decision. He will have ROTC through the school and we need that schedule to see if there are any conflicts. With all that said we have some decisions to make.
I hope that he and I can start jogging in the mornings as soon as it cools off a little, if it ever does ha!!!

road trip!

Friday evening I took off to pick up Jacob & to visit and see Carrie's new house.... I got to see the new office of this Asst. Principal~

and to visit with her parents & Granny :)

so Friday night Mary Grace was turning cartwheels...she asked Carrie and I to join her~

We had a great visit and were able to hit up a few boutiques in the process. I bought some jeans and they are 2 sizes smaller than last year!! Woot!

make lemonade, and add vodka!!! It has been a hectic 3 weeks I must say, if it has not been one thing it has been another!!!
I did manage to get in some swim time with some girls that I have been friends with for about 20 years, we always have some good laughter!

Jacob is in Mississippi with the cousins & their Dad working...he is really about making money these days. This is a picture he text me on Tuesday....yes I am worried about the temps but he insisted on going! I am ready for him to come home so we can get in the shool routine, I am picking up his schedule today. In 2 weeks he will start boxing lessons with Jermaine Taylor's 1st coach and he will be in ROTC. Such a change from football but I have to let him be himself. Speaking of football I am READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!

Carrie moved last weekend and it was sad to watch that uhaul pull away. She is about and hour from us now so we will be making some weekend trips :)

We were finally able to have cake for Jacob's birthday.... and that would be with possibly the ugliest cake I have ever seen...lol. Maybe I should send it in to cakewrecks.com. But regardless it was nice to finally sing to him :)

The weekend was great it just went way too fast!
