On Sunday...

I left Jacob here. I cried all the way back down that mountain, maybe just a happy cry. I helped him put his sheet on his bunk and headed out, it was oh probably 105 in that cabin. That has been my only concern, the high temps! We hooked up his fan and I was off. I had the camera and I saw him look over at it, probably thinking if she starts snapping pics in this tiny hot cabin she has had it....lol
We were 2nd to register so Jacob got his bunk of choice in cabin B1.
Hopefully I will be able to get some good pics on Friday morning when I go to the Closing Eucharist.
And just maybe I will get a letter today =)

Busy week ahead getting Jacob ready for his first church camp. I am so excited for him but at the same time nervous. He will do great because he never meets a stranger, wonder where he gets that from ;)
and much more to do...appointments, meetings, cookouts, etc.
When I have busy weeks like such Friday is here before you know it!

To be 2 again...

Jamie and Kaden came for dinner, Kaden sure took up with Joe a.k.a. Papaw and they played a little guitar hero. I cooked a dish I had never made, Wild n Cheesy chicken. Turned out pretty good. A nice Sunday it was!

Do you dream?

I don't very often but it seems that when I do it is so vivid. Last night I dreamed that I was arrested, not by any police officer but by this police officer. He happens to be the husband to my friend/coworker Nataki. Well after telling my story this morning he walks up to my desk, wierd huh? Just had to take a photo.
p.s. no I was not arrested...lol

Not much going on I guess I am still relaxing from the weekend.

The weekend was laid back with some much needed R&R. Jacob had some tie dyed ice cream, I called it Hippie ice cream. He also went fishing yesterday and caught lots of fish.
I did manage to get my blind hung over the weekend =)

Tuesday Jacob had an appointment, when we left this lovely piece of rebar...

Tore this from the bottom of my car. And note how the concrete is pulled from the spot it should be in, yeah well we drug it. The noise was horrible! After almost 4 hours spent at the North Point Nissan service center it is now fixed!!

After that I took Jacob shopping with his birthday money ~ bought lots of goodies including a Ipod docking station/ clock. He was a smart shopper and i love to see that!

A little late~ A farewell to Katie. Katie was an intern here at work and has accepted a new position. We will miss you Katie!
