Mayberry, OK

Not really Mayberry but much like it. Jacob and I took off for a little unplanned visit to see Michele in Oklahoma. My week last week was SO stressful and this is just what we needed!
We spent time at a bonfire~

and we spent time at the Ag barn at a livestock show. I sure wish Jacob's school had this program.

we sang Happy Birthday to Justin & Virginia~
and we shopped at Ross, a store we don't have in AR but I did find out we will be getting 3 of them. I loved this place and this is one of my finds :)

my valentine :)

I sent him in the barber shop alone last week and he had the barber use a blade on top instead of scissors, Momma does not like it!
Maybe he is getting ready for ROTC, Jacob chose his classes for next year when we met at the school Monday and his electives are football & ROTC. He can't go in the military, I would be sad :(

a day at the track~

and a night on the town in Hot Springs...

Super Bowl 2010

Friday night Kathy and I headed out to Juanita's to see some cool cats we grew up with and went to Junior High School with. The guys are in a Christian Metal band called Living Sacrifice. They tour the United States and we have not seen them in 20 some odd years. We all lived in the same neighborhood and were close back in the day.

runnin' a muck!

My nephew Bailey came to get iced in with us and we had a nice weekend. Kind of non-productive but nice.

See these boots...Muck boots to be exact, well they are some pricey things and after a complete and total meltdown we hitched a ride to Gander Mountain and the boots were purchased. Let's just hope for that price they fit next year!!!
