Championship here we come....

I only took 2 pics then the camera died. I got a charge long enough to capture the scoreboard. Our boys really played a good ball game. This Saturday will be the championship game against the Maumelle Wildcats. SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3rd @ 3:30, SEE YOU THERE!!! We have a long tough week of practice coming up.

Jacob B. spent the night Saturday night and they went to see The Comebacks. Jacob & I went to Gadwall's for the 1st time since the fire, it was nice. We also worked on Jacob's project and I did some cleaning.

Friday night I took Jacob to a Halloween party and hayride in Scott. Cool hayride!

I had passes for the VIP night to Boo, a good time was had by all! Even if it was wet ;)

Some of you know about the car situation last week, and for you who don't on Tuesday my window went down and never came back up. Wouldn't ya know it, rained all week. I had people try to by pass with wires, some try to manaully raise it and some run parts, ya da ya da. We were hitching rides to work, school, football, everywhere.
So I prayed a lot (and cried). There is power in prayer! Friday afternoon things began to fall in place, and more things broke.
Salvage yards (for the electric motor switch), auto zone for the new battery, yes it would not start after all that wait. But we got it going, now a few more reapirs but we are driving =)
This morning Jacob & I stopped to get gas and he was just getting out to go pay and I said "We are driving ourselves this morning"
He says "I am so glad"
I say "God is good"
I then turn my head and their was a lady at my car window with her bible and 2 different pieces of reading material. It was a mesage, it really was.
To each of you who helped me last week with a ride, or borrowing your car, or running parts, or picking up Jacob THANK YOU love you guys!

Monday Jacob was out of school so I took the day off. We slept in and were very lazy. In the afternoon I took Jacob & Dominick to see Gameplan. This was a great movie and The Rock played an excellent part~ we enjoyed it!

Well I did it! I told my story to the City Council last night and it was televised. I was so nervous but I think I pulled it off~ It was tough but some time has passed and it seems easier than when I spoke in 2004. If I could only help one person or help fundings for shelters and such, it is needed and you never know who may need it, it could be your friend, family, coworker~ anyone~ you just never know!

This weekend will be busy~Saturday I am walking in Race for the Cure with the girls from ABPG, I am excited. Then off to a ball game. Sunday is Bethany's birthday party, she will be 4. Goodness how time flies.

Jacob seems to be doing better since we started the breathing treatments~ and he is as always sweet as pie =)

Today I am very nervous! Tonight I will speak at the CLR Board Meeting during a presentation & proclamation on Domestic Violence, as a survivor. I have what I will say all prepared but as most of you know I will have a dad gum anxiety attack. Wish me well, this meeting is televised~

The weeekend was nice. Friday night Jacob went to the Sylvan Hills Homecoming with Jeremy and Denise. Saturday was the game, YAY White Twisters and thanks to each of you for coming out to watch Jacob play.

We had lots of visitors over the weekend. Ramona & Brandon, and thanks Brandon for mowing my front yard. Starla came to visit last night and had dinner with us. Enjoyed the visit!

Jacob seems to be doing better with his breathing and coughing since we have started the asthma treatments.

I got a flu shot Wednesday, my arm was a little sore =(

Jacob and I spent the morning at the doctor. Breathing test, updraft, more breathing test and they have decided to treat him for asthma. He said he doesn't feel Jacob ever gets a true night of good rest, bless his heart. But hopefully with the updrafts and the surgery we can get him fixed right up!

Congrats to Heather on the house~now I can stop by often ;)

White Twisters take 1st Place!!!

DO you recall the loss we had a few weeks ago to Maumelle Wildcats, and I refused to post the final score and there was a photo of Jacob with that Huge kid (will post soon, blogger is hard headed today). Well we beat them Saturday 14-6, this put the WHITE TWISTERS in 1st PLACE!!!!
Jacob could not breathe afterwards but we got through. 4th quarter I noticed one of his cleats not even on his heel for about 4 plays.
Saturday we play the Gold Twisters. This is a big game for us~BE THERE!!We beat them our 1st game of the season.

Friday night Jacob B. spent the night and the boys just chilled with some movies, my jacob was coughing really bad.
Saturday Pam & I along with some of her coworkers joined 10 Fitness, I love this place.
Sunday Bethany hung out with Jacob while we worked out!!

The Razorbacks won YAY! The Raiders had a bye week....
The weekend was GREAT and very relaxing
