SAT already?
Jacob received a letter yesterday that he will be able to take the SAT because he scored so well on his benchmark test last year. Not sure why the SAT and all I know right now is that it is a program through Duke University. More details later.....

smart little man! i think we had something similar through Duke when I was in high school - TIP or something. i can't remember exactly but it's a GOOD THING! :)

Is it free? I'd have him take it if so-couldn't hurt (good practice); if not, wait a couple years when he can really knock it out. It's used to judge who gets into college. I think the ACT is more common though.
