Weekend that is!!

Friday night was sushi date night while Jacob hung out with friends...

 Saturday I shopped all day for school supplies. I got these cute Corky's for a steal, I love when summer items go on clearance!

 I went to the produce place so my sister & I could have peach fuzz cocktails while we cooked out...and Sunday Matt & I hit up the mall and did some relaxing! It was a great weekend!

If they had a school that was all day fishing Jacob would be one happy camper. I have been redoing his room in hunting & fishing and it is still a work in progress but here is a bit of it. He gets his deer mount Wednesday so that will be added to the walls.

 Fishing with uncle Shane....my sister said they look like swamp people...lol. Hopefully Santa will be leaving Jacob his very own fishing boat so Matt & I can join in on the fun :)

Our weather has a looked a bit like this and oh how we needed it! The weekend is going to be a lot less humid and I may not know how to act. I do know I plan to clean my vehicle very good if the rain stops!

 I am on the hunt for these orange shoes for Jacob. He found them at the Polo outlet when we were in Florida and did not get them, now he wants them. Yep they are orange!

I am so ready for some football!!!

Jacob has worked with Matt some last week & this week so he can buy himself a notebook computer thingie. I guess he will be needing that for his computer app's class ;) That brings me to the subject of our laptop that was stolen almost 2 years ago by the neighbor...that guy has yet to pay me off & remains 3 months behind on restitution, our system stinks, just plain stinks!!
School starts Monday & I think we are ready, Jacob hasn't really said much and I am not believing that he is going in 10th grade.
On the exercise front I am back to every day & I am sore! But  it's a must!!

I found this picture at World weigh in...it's a picture of a picture as their website would not allow me to save a copy. Jacob has a Bass meeting tonight and I am sure they will congratulate him for being the top weight for his team :)                                                           

 I found these on another website and they are from the State tournament back in May. He has grown since then.....my lil' angler. With that being said Jacob has made a decision to come out of football and devote all of his time to trap, fishing & hunting.

 the tournament went well. they did not place in the top 7 but they did great! Jacob did bring in the top weight for NLR. woot woot!

tournament update

Jacob & Jared weighed in with 7.2 lbs yesterday...not to bad! I think yesterdays top weight was 15 lbs...

I hope they bring in some big ones today!!!

I was speaking with one of the Moms and she informed me that Jacob's boat captain wanted to speak to me, mind you that I have never met this person. He got on the phone to tell me that Jacob was a wonderful person to be around and such a joy to fish with. He said he fished his heart out yesterday!!

Day 1 Official Tournament

 Jacob's view this morning. He was 1st flight boat #12. If you got to http://www.highschoolfishing.ihigh.com/ you can click on Day 1 flight 1 and about 1:55 minutes into the video they will announce Jacob and then he will be about 3 boats later, he is in the middle. He looks nervous to me...GOOD LUCK BOYS!!!
