gotta change this attitude!

Well it's birthday week and it has been a rocky week so far, SO I am changing that up :)
Tomorrow I am off for new hair color and to have a Stacia day!
Then Saturday night I have a room reservation downtown and am having dinner with friends.

p.s. I still want this daisy in a tat on my foot :)

My baby has sure grown up! Today is his 1st day to wear his ROTC uniform~

I did it!

Last night was my 1st tap class in about 20 years. I was very nervous at the thought of walking in but as Jacob said to me on the phone "put your confidence on and get in their Mom"
So I did and I am so ready for next week! It was a blast, although I don't have near the balance I did as a teen...lol
Regardless it was great fun!!! The girls are great (there are 7 of us) and Bradi is an awesome instructor! Bradi and I have been friends since we were kids and took tap together years ago, obviously she never stopped liked I did. We even share the same birthday....speaking of which, it's birthday week :) oh and yes I think we will be dancing in the recital next summer...talk about an anxiety attack!!! If you know me you know that public speaking or performance are ummmm not something I can do easily!

Saturday evening Jacob & I had dinner with the Brockinton's and watched the Razorback game...the food was delish!

The weekend was great! I got so much done at home and was able to enjoy some quality time with most of my peeps :)

Next Friday is girls trip to the lake and the next weekend is my birthday, better rest up HA!

So this past weekend I was able to clean out my closet with clothes that are too big. I was also able to put on a skirt that I have been saving for about 7 years, yes I said 7 years! It fits and it was buttoned. I have lost right at 30 lbs thus far. I have a long way to go but I do plan to get there. Granted I have no clothes now but I guess I am not complaining.

I have increased my exercise lately to 2 a day and I will be starting a tap class in 2 weeks that will add more exercise and I am super excited! Tap was a passion of mine for many years and I am excited to get back to it! I picked up my tap shoes last night :)

I showed Jacob a few steps that I remember and ummmm I am certain he was thinking I was nuts..ha!

NOT US!!!

So last week my car would not start, I was at a grocery store and not one that I cared to be stranded at but I was and I sat for 3.5 hours waiting on a wrecker through my road side assistance. I began this wait at 5:30 and watched the sun set.....yuk! I had a funny feeling it was my ignition switch so I bought one and Crystal popped that steering column off and put a new one in. Works like a charm :)
