He takes the ACT Saturday morning at 8:00, let's wish him some luck. However I have stopped stressing as he is only in the 7th grade.

When Jacob was a year old, getting close to two, we could ask him to make his Popeye face and this is what you would get. Such a ham and he still has this wonderful personality! He was very good at this and knew we would laugh hysterically~

Just a pretty face~they do not make them any cuter...

We laughed about these pics and at 6:30 this morning I asked him if he could duplicate the face....this is what I got!

And one of me just because....I think we look alike somewhat. But he really looks like my mother when she was a child.

Bass Pro Shops

Friday night Jacob and I stayed on the strip in Branson and Carrie and the kids went back to her brothers. We checked in our room, got cleaned up and headed to eat crab legs at Starvin Marvin's. Saturday morning we were up early to go to Bass Pro. When we got there we had lunch at Hemingway's and I think Jacob ate 2 bites, the lady sat us at the table over looking the whole place and he could not stand it. He was totally amazed....needless to say we went fishing Sunday. I am offering money for people to take him fishing and hunting...lol
Many hours later we were on our way home. Karen (the GPS, yes they named her) only got us lost once in Harrison, and how funny was this...after driving through a mud hole and soaking myself because the window was down I pulled into a scarey loooking tattoo parlor to ask for help. Jacob begging the whole time for me to please not talk to these people....I thought he looked pretty protective in this mask he bought at BPS!

We had a great time! We did drive through some sleet and snow and it was beautiful. WOW at the NWA damage we could see, it looked like someone had chopped the tops off all the trees. And yes he does change clothes, the hoodie just acted as a coat for the weekend.

Friday morning we were up very early....after a trip to Wal Mart for ponchos and hoodies, that we did not need YAY! we loaded up....

for a full day of this.....

black hoodies, only because it was cold and because we wanted to look gangsta...lol. It actually turned out just perfect, not cold, not hot and no lines for the rides! Jacob had me ride 4 rides and 3 of them were scarey....

just look at Matthew and Jacob being sweeties and riding with the little ones...hehe. They were not too happy when I tagged them on FB with these pics ;)

Pefect day!

Thursday afternoon we traveled and of course we must start out with Mickey D's.

We made it to Carrie's brothers and his wife Sharon's in Carthage and were all a little tired. I then broke a nail and it was a must, no nail salon in this town so I took the GPS in the pouring rain and headed to the mall in Joplin all alone, kind of brave, I thought. Got my nail fixed =)

Jacob says if I don't take this song off and stop playing the cd he is going to scream. Says he never cares to hear Jesse again...lol poor kid!

Let's start with Thursday morning......Carrie took me to the airport to pick up a rental car that I had reserved....yes my car would probably be okay but it is old and needs no extra miles so I had reserved a car. Well the car they held for me was a Jeep Wrangler hard top, yes it would be fun but not to good on gas mileage. It was all they had so I finally agreed. Now keep in mind Carrie is very busy, the calendar below is just her work calendar, I do not now how she does it!! And by the time I took this pic we were hysterical. At any rate I go to pay for the Jeep Wrangler and the lady says "um maam your license has been expired since September of 2008" is this a joke? no it was not!
So we take off to the closest revenue........ And look what was in the door.....your kidding right?? Nope!
So we were off to another revenue....Carrie laughing the whole time. I was not laughing at this point...A few hours later and I was off in this Pontiac G6, and I must say this car

was great and got great gas mileage.

Update~
Saw the neuro doc, mass is stabilized and we are now waiting on some blood work. This is good news, just hope for good news on the lab work! *fingers crossed*
Oh and the blood work....well on the 1st arm I said to her "I feel funny" about that time she said I must change arms and restick you, never mind the 10 empty vials I could see that needed to be filled. So here we go to the 2nd arm, about that time the guy next to her said "her lips are turning, do something" well um by this point I was not feeling so well, broke out in a sweat and was so dizzy. So they made me sit and sit and sit.

MRI Monday~
So I had my MRI at 7:45 this morning, they really should make that a little bit quicker process I needed to sneeze and my instructions were, as she placed the cage around my head, do not move your head. And as luck has it I don't hold still very well for anything...lol
The contrast stuff they inject is nasty, I could smell it and taste it. But it's over and I see the neurologist Wednesday. I would appreciate your prayers.

Now I have no pictures this morning because um well um *stuttering* I left my purse laying somewhere Friday night while I was dancing....I went out with the roomie and 5 of his friends for his birthday. The purse has been located and I should be getting it today, thank goodness.

Jacob is on Spring Break and we have a little getaway with the Parsley's coming up...can't wait!!

I have a new title....

Bunco Historian...don't hate you know your jealous...lol
I was kind of in a funk last night and had some distractions but I did get most wins in a roll off. April's Bunco, bring it!! I am ready and leaving the phone at home...lol
Although I got most wins I have yet to wear the Bunco crown, and the only blog worthy photo is myself is black and white because I need a TAN!!! Like now!!! just sayin~
