Friday night fun...

Jacob and I had a date to Riverfest Friday night. We had dinner in the VIP pavilion and then were off for some fun.

Jacob shopped for a new necklace, made sand art, and played in the new water feature. Very handy during the hot humid evening.

We ran into lots of friends including the Davis/Visible Attractions crew.

2 parties...

Saturday night Ashley invited me to a crawfish boil in Mayflower.

But somehow I ended up at a party in Scott....lol

An attempt at ZZ Top...

Sunday night I made an attempt at ZZ Top with Pam, Steve, Joe & Bethany. To say the least we left very quickly, that crowd was too much for us!! So we grabbed some dinner at U.S. Pizza and chilled at the house. Monday the boys were bored so I got out the canvas' and the acrylic paint and they got busy, beautiful work guys ;)

Hades, frogs & cheese dip

Jacob has a project due tomorrow on Greek Mythology on Hades. He has known since April but "forgot" to tell me and this project is part of his portfolio for middle school. soooo I called in the troops. Jan, Juli, Ashley & Bailey were there waiting on us.

Bailey was eager to help Jacob....

Bailey also has a project due and that was to create a Tropical Rain Forest.

This turned out too cute.

Thanks to everyone for your help. We wrapped things up very near midnight last night.

Two of you?

This is my card from Jacob, he always has such a good sense of humor. He also gave me a silver necklace and earrings and tanning visits @ Sundash. Michele showed up unexpected and we had lunch at El Porton. Jacob and I rented movies and grilled chicken. We had a nice day!

Now that it is public Michele is moving back to Arkansas. She got her Arkansas license last week and had good news at the job fair this weekend. Cant' wait!!

Saturday I got a hair trim, which is much more than I wanted, manicure and pedicure, then headed out to Smokey's Pub for some night life with Kim, Carrie and ton of other's. I saw people I had not seen in a while, imagine that, me knowing someone there...lol

Jacob spent the night with Jeremy and they went to a Twisters game.

Friday night Jacob & I went to Della's to see the hardware floors being installed. Jacob & Meagan went to the new bowling alley and us girls had dinner.

Juli's college weekends often looked like this, no matter what she had going on she always made time for these boys. And chances are they may be driving her nuts...lol

But at the same token you can tell there are very protective of her..just look at them. Please note that these pictures came with tons of laughter....and yes there are more Juli ;)

Jacob, Bailey and I were able to take Jay to the airport on Sunday. We enjoyed the visit!!

Even though you slept a lot.....

Juli had a very nice reception in LR after the ceremony. I was able to visit with some family I have not seen in at least 10 years. A great time was had.

I forgot to take pictures during the ball game, here a few after and it was about 10:30 and Jacob was tired. jacob got another hit to the fence, last hit of the ball game and it was caught by right field, darnit!

It was a good game. This makes our 1st loss, better luck next time boys!

Today I am having a little oral surgery, yuk!

Jacob has to be at Dickey Stephens this evening for Build A Park. If you have not seen it on tv or heard it on the radio all proceeds at Dickey Stephens today go to Sherwood Sports Complex.

A very productive weekend I must say.
~Friday I got my windows tinted on the ole' Max, I like!
Nails & toes are done, yard is clean with a few flowers planted. Carpets cleaned and I did some cooking, I even made Jacob some bacon, egg, & cheese biscuits for this week. Betty Crocker huh...lol
I made it to Della & Monica's yard sale, it was so pretty Saturday.
Saturday evening had a couple of cocktails with a group of girls.
Sunday Kim, Pam & Joe all stopped by.

Jacob and I went to the mall Saturday where we ran into the boys. Jacob was off to I-30 speedway with them and a sleep over. And of course riding~ 4 wheelers that is. Jacob also started his 1st layaway with an off road helmet and goggles. My elephant ears are peeking through...
