R.I.P. Hermie

Some of you may remember Hermie, the crab we brought back from Gulf Shores...well he went to crab heaven.

I bought this book on Sunday while Kim and I were out doing some shopping, Target is a must for us.....
I can not put this book down. I like Valerie Bertinelli and of course I like Van Halen, this is a MUST READ. Some of you know I am not much of a reader, so this is new to me and I am liking it.
This book is inspiring me, no I have not ever been married to a Rock Star, but I have dreamed about it ;) specifically Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, gosh I am getting old!
Saturday I increased my treadmill to 40 minutes, oh goodness I am still very sore and my shints have been killing me, work it out girl, work it out!!!
Saturday night I had dinner and drinks with Denise & Ronnie, who do you think drank all the margarita's.

Guess what I got in the mail today......SIGNED DIVORCE PAPERS!!! Yay, like I said before he left in June.
Funny stuff and some of you can appreciate....
Okay I DO NOT like the color purple, no offense anyone I just don't. SOOO he signs in purple, haha and just hen scratches up the typed envelope I so kindly sent, scratched out his last name on my name, then rewrote it in purple, etc etc ~funny stuff!! Oh an he signed on the judge's line after I CLEARLY put the "sign here" tabs on for him. I was able to get those couriered right over to his work, hope this does not take 9 months!

That was a big shock this morning and it was so "springy" on Sunday.

Last night Ramona treated us to dinner at Gadwall's. This was her first time at our favorite spot.

After dinner I was off to the gym, worked out with Carrie P.~30 minutes on the machines, then 30 minutes on the treadmill and then tanned. So this breast bone of mine that is wired together with titanium wires feels as though it may never be the same, TMI I know but it hurts.

Put me in coach...

The Red Sox will be Jacob's team this year. We had a parent meeting yesterday and I am very impressed with the new coach he has coached little league, high school, and college. I think he will have a lot to teach Jacob. First practice is Wednesday. He did say "I will break your children down" I sure hope Jacob is ready =)

The exercise is still going well. My legs are a little sore today and I started tanning yesterday, I am just a wee bit ghostly!
This week I am needing a little strength in a certain area and must dig deep to find it, I can do it, I can do it! Prayers appreciated~

I usually don't blog this stuff so that I don't jinx myself but I must. I have been hitting it hard at the working out. Well according to the doc last week I have lost 14 lbs and I have gotten my treadmill up to 35 minutes. Give me strength to keep this going =)

Maniac's??

Monday night we headed to Conway so Juli and Jacob could work on his school project for the novel Maniac Magee. THANKS JULI We first met at Ruby Tuesday's for a wonderful salad bar, of course Jacob had his favorite mini burgers, then we headed to Juli's place to get to work.

They decided on the collage and got busy cutting.........

PRO SE.......eh???

I usually don't discuss these things, but hey I am a female.
So I typed the divorce papers, you know he has been gone since June, and have now sent him a second set, he claims to have never gotten the 1st set. I sent both with postage paid envelopes to return them to me. It consist of two little things to sign a decree and a waiver of service, which keeps him from even having to show up at court. There is no property, no children, no nothing....... Will he return these papers, weeeeeeell no!
I have typed it, sent it, am going to pay for it and all, but oh no~
now you know why your a** is outta there...lol IDIOT!! Laugh with me, you know you wanna =)

Still sick.....

I am still sick and I have a doctor's appointment at 2:00. I hope I can get a shot. I have made it through the week, but goodness this stuff is hanging on....

I got all of these on Saturday. My car drives like a new one and I would think that it should. The control arm was about to break and the tire would have been sucked underneath the car, sounds scarey huh? All better now!

The weekend was spent fighting off this crud I have.....Friday night I did not move from my couch. Fever, chills, etc. I felt horrible.

Jacob left for Hot Springs with Juli~ he had a great time, thanks for having him!!
Saturday night I watched the fight and then Sunday morning I thought I felt better and went and bought paint to paint my bedroom....well I got started on the trim and then started back with the fever. So I call myself finishing up on Monday while running fever *insert sigh* You all know that I hate to leave someting undone.....But I do think I like it.
I still have some trimming out to do but for now this is all I could do
