Well I did it! I told my story to the City Council last night and it was televised. I was so nervous but I think I pulled it off~ It was tough but some time has passed and it seems easier than when I spoke in 2004. If I could only help one person or help fundings for shelters and such, it is needed and you never know who may need it, it could be your friend, family, coworker~ anyone~ you just never know!

This weekend will be busy~Saturday I am walking in Race for the Cure with the girls from ABPG, I am excited. Then off to a ball game. Sunday is Bethany's birthday party, she will be 4. Goodness how time flies.

Jacob seems to be doing better since we started the breathing treatments~ and he is as always sweet as pie =)

Today I am very nervous! Tonight I will speak at the CLR Board Meeting during a presentation & proclamation on Domestic Violence, as a survivor. I have what I will say all prepared but as most of you know I will have a dad gum anxiety attack. Wish me well, this meeting is televised~

The weeekend was nice. Friday night Jacob went to the Sylvan Hills Homecoming with Jeremy and Denise. Saturday was the game, YAY White Twisters and thanks to each of you for coming out to watch Jacob play.

We had lots of visitors over the weekend. Ramona & Brandon, and thanks Brandon for mowing my front yard. Starla came to visit last night and had dinner with us. Enjoyed the visit!

Jacob seems to be doing better with his breathing and coughing since we have started the asthma treatments.

I got a flu shot Wednesday, my arm was a little sore =(

Jacob and I spent the morning at the doctor. Breathing test, updraft, more breathing test and they have decided to treat him for asthma. He said he doesn't feel Jacob ever gets a true night of good rest, bless his heart. But hopefully with the updrafts and the surgery we can get him fixed right up!

Congrats to Heather on the house~now I can stop by often ;)

White Twisters take 1st Place!!!

DO you recall the loss we had a few weeks ago to Maumelle Wildcats, and I refused to post the final score and there was a photo of Jacob with that Huge kid (will post soon, blogger is hard headed today). Well we beat them Saturday 14-6, this put the WHITE TWISTERS in 1st PLACE!!!!
Jacob could not breathe afterwards but we got through. 4th quarter I noticed one of his cleats not even on his heel for about 4 plays.
Saturday we play the Gold Twisters. This is a big game for us~BE THERE!!We beat them our 1st game of the season.

Friday night Jacob B. spent the night and the boys just chilled with some movies, my jacob was coughing really bad.
Saturday Pam & I along with some of her coworkers joined 10 Fitness, I love this place.
Sunday Bethany hung out with Jacob while we worked out!!

The Razorbacks won YAY! The Raiders had a bye week....
The weekend was GREAT and very relaxing

Today is Ashley's bone scan, thoughts & prayers are with you!

Time to get out the Halloween decor. Actually I got mine out last weekend but most still sits in the tote. You know I always have to post pictures from previous years 2006 Jacob & Deven

My baby boy is sick =(
Jacob is scheduled for surgery on 12/17, how fun on your Christmas break. His tonsils and adnoids are man size and in addition to that they are swollen, inflammed, whatever you call it but either way it is blocking his airway. Doctor says give him these narcotics ( and many other Rx's) to relax his airway (I do not like giving him things like such) and keep him in the bed with you at night in case his breathing becomes real labored and if so bring him to the ER immediately. You can hear this child breathing across the room. Doc says he will be down at least a week and a half so we must wait until Christmas break to keep his grades from falling. Speaking of grades Jacob is doing very well this year! He had decided to run for school President and I guess had some anxiety over the weekend and has changed his mind. He states he just does not have time with football. And no he sure can't breathe after practice and he must return this evening, poor guy!

Last week was real busy @ work with the Central High Events, the ceremony was really nice, a tear jerker for me.
I did make it weekend before last to the Morris Day concert and met the band. That was neat even though I had met them before. Enjoyed the company Dawn. I have a few pictures BUT the camera is deeeeaaaaaad!

The Raiders beat the Dolphins yesterday YAY! I get very excited to see anyone beat the Dolphins especially my team =)

Jermaine Taylor~ well this just goes to show.....you can't always be on the top.

Jacob spent the night with the other Jacob B. and went skating~Thanks for the invite! Jacob's dad is going to do my tattoo =) stay tuned
