Jacob & I leave one week from tomorrow. We both are in need of this vacation!!

Weekend Review

Friday night we did not have practice so Jacob spent the night with Deven and I visited with Pam, Steve & Craig.
Then on Saturday Jacob went with them to Chuck E Cheese and also to see Surfs Up! Thanks for inviting him. Jacob spent the night again on Saturday night while I watched Lifetime and caught some zzz's. I was really tired from last week.
Yesterday Jacob & I did some more shopping for school items, locker supplies. We got a locker shelf and a dry erase board but are still searching for a few more things. I was able to go into the school this morning and help him get his locker all set up =)
He is such a big boy now.
I was not good with my camera at all this weekend. Maybe I am waiting on vacation.......10 DAYS YAY!!

2 out of 3 ain't bad..

Looking a little better this year ~out of 3 preseason games they have won 2. Keep it up boys!

Today is Katherine's last day with the City of Little Rock. Congrats on your new position in Austin!!
I will miss your uplifting attitude and especially our talks we would have. You always seem to have a way to look at the positive side of everything. I wish you the best life has to offer and you MUST stay in touch.
I was not able to attend Katherine's going away party @ Cajun's the other night due to football and was sorry I missed it.

The coaches are NOT happy that Jacob will be missing the 1st game due to our late vacation. He asked "who will snap the ball for us? Can he stay behind and stay with me?"

Last night Matthew Parsley, Jacob's quarterback hitched a ride home with us and I managed to get them to pose for a few pictures.

Day two of practie and Jacob is very sore. I had him do some stretches before practice. The muscle in his thigh is so big and gets so sore, any home remedy ideas?? I try to rub them but he can get a little antsy. Day two of school was great and Jacob was assigned his locker, that was very exciting to him. Almost exciting as the fact that he does not have to drink milk at lunch everyday, he was able to purchase a Propel yesterday.

He lets me take pictures at home but not so much on the field. I need to be a little discreet ;)

Me, Denise, Carrie and Mary Grace walked during practice. Jacob asked if I was forming a walking club..lol

I am so rushed this week trying to get the hang of this new routine. The helemt we bought was too big, they gave us the wrong size and they will not have his size until next week, wearing the old one for now.

His mouth piece melted to my purse during one of my trips to the helmet shop yesterday, can you say HOT! And you boil these things in hot water....

I left work early to get the helmet not knowing they did not even have the darn thing *insert sigh* and slammed into the back of a Dodge pick up. Yep my fault! I started to call police and the nice man got out to check on me and said my car was not hurt nor his truck and we could just go. To say the least I left.

Then I lost my keys before getting to pratice, then I thought I had broke my camera.

SLOW IT DOWN STACIA!!!!

Today I am dealing with that Crayon Breaker AGAIN!! ugh

White Twisters 1st Practice

The White Twisters. Jacob circled in red and Jeremy in green. (How do you like my circles..lol) Lookin' good boys. Jacob is a little sore in the legs this morning but is ready to head back out there. Denise, Carson & myself all walked last night. See you tonight =)

OFF TO THE BIG SCHOOL....

This morning I dropped Jacob off for his 1st day of 6th grade at Poplar Street Elementary. Yes dropped him off as they requested that the parents do not come in. I did not care for this at all.
Jacob was excited to see his friends and not nervous in the least bit.
Jacob will ride a bus home from school for the 1st time and this too makes me nervous. I hope he has a wonderful day.

p.s. yes I did cry

Last night Jacob & I did some more shopping for football & school items. We will finish up this weekend and top it off with a haircut and be all ready for the first day of Middle School on Monday. Changing classes and a locker, this will be a new world for Jacob, stay tuned for pictures, although we can't go in the school with the students and I have ALWAYS went in with him on the first day so I could cried.....I know, I know don't laugh.

Saturday morning we are going to join Kim & Gage in Cabot at her in-laws for some swimming & sunning!

~Jacob spent the night with Jeremy again last night, they are having a blast.

~I purchased Jacob's new helmet today as his head has grown. It sure is shiny and new, and I think I like the old one better because it has all of his battle wounds as well as the logo stickers and his stickers that they get for each win and such. This one looks boring for now.

~I am ready for some cool weather. I am going to walk the track while Jacob practices and hope to see some results.

~I feel wierd this week, I have a situation that I am not real sure how to need to handle, so this puts me in deep thought. Maybe I need a special outing or something or maybe I am getting impatient waiting on vacation =)

Yes friends it is JEREMY BROCKINTON!!!

How cool is that. Jeremy was drafted and picked up by our coaches last night. This morning I had a visual of Jacob as center of course Matthew as quarterback and Jeremy as wide receiver, uh huh sounds pretty good to me =)

Stay tuned this season will be great!

Jacob spent the night with Jeremy last night and they are headed to the pool today.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. 24 days and counting.....

I seem to be day dreaming a lot today =)

The weekend was nice and pleasant, caught some rays with Pam Saturday morning and had a nice lunch, Sunday Jacob and I relaxed way too much, it was just so hot!

We purchased Jacob's cleats and tonight are the football drafts. Jacob does not have to draft as we have decided to move up an age group and stay with the same team~White Twisters Rock! We will be there to support our friends who are drafting!

Another One Bites The Dust

My cell phone finally decided it was worn out...... When I got home from work I could not make or receive calls at all. Ad this happened in the middle of the screen door completely falling off onto the hood of my car and the my washing machine leaking all over the floor, etc.
I am so thankful it is Friday. Have a great weekend =)

Sunday night we had house guest and yes Zoey came too. We told her she had to hide because she is illegal in my town.shhhhh
Ashley's a/c was out when she returned from out of on Sunday so they bunked with us. Deven was with us as well.

Careful with your debit card....

Some friends of mine went to a local McDonald's drive thru last weekend and they were given their receipt back but not the debit card after paying. They were in a hurry and did not notice until that afternoon. The clerk at the window turned the debit card over to the "Manager" whom headed down to get his car out of impound, buy car parts, shopped at Wal Mart and various other purchases. This guy is on a full ball scholarship at Arkansas Baptist College and the school has called my friends trying to keep them from pressing charges, they even had the guy call and apologize himself. PLEASE, spare me! I think they should sock it to him AND take away his scholarship! This whole thing will be on t.v so stay tuned~

Football Registration

Saturday morning Jacob & Jeremy registered for football~Here they are getting fit for their game pants. Can't wait!! We had a decision to make because the way Jacob's birthday falls he should actually play 9 & 10 year olds. We have decided to move up to 11 & 12 and stay with his team from last year! GO WHITE TWISTERS!!
